by James Jackson ini have served 20 years as an elder, 5 years as an ms. was on the district committee in 2010, held various positions on the district , circuit, and rbc level.
probably been on more than 100 judicial committees and even an appeals committee.
was the coordinator in our congregation and deleted because adult child was df ( i kicked him out at the time of his wrongdoing, but that wasn't enough for thr brothers).

My brother says: Don't worry about 2052, we will be in paradise by then...
by Joliette ini was talking to my brother about a video that i saw about african genocide, and in the video this doctor that i listened to was saying based on his research he predicts that africans in different regions of africa will be scaled back by about 50% by the year 2052 (due to aids, food storages, etc).
my brother gave me a drive home from work and we were talking about this.
he said that we wont have to worry about that cause 2052 is never going to happen.

CAN YOU BE AN 'APOSTATE' IF YOU WERE NEVER BAPTIZED?

he was never officially baptized as a witness and i believe he is now a born again christian.. does crooklyn consider someone an 'apostate' if you were never actually a full-fledged member but ended up leaving?
or are you just considered 'bad association'??

My little brother was never baptized but because he was a 'born in' and started reading 'apostate' material and was gay, he was pretty much shunned by my mom, siblings and congregation.

I did. I loved it, it did create a hardship as expected. But what I loved about it was this. On those days when I had to work alone I only took the bible to the door. I aksed the HH if he ever wanted to ask a JW about the bible or any other related question about the bible I would be glad to answer It for him. I did leave myself wide open, but man oh man did I ever get into some discussions. It must also be noted that most HH did not want to talk about the bible. With or without a Wt the HH did not want to be bothered with. Go figure!!

My mom just receintly told me she was going to die in this system. All I could do was agree with her! she was Baptised in 72. Now she is 72 and going to die in this system. She gave up so much to serve the WT God!!!!

Tech49- Welcome and great opening and follow up posts. It is nice to be in controll. Look forward to reading more. I too saw alot of what you describe, though I never served as a elder I did push alot of buttons and because of that I got to see and hear alot. to many confidences were broken, I came to know things I should not have known. But it never got me to drinking!!! I knew these were imperfections if men. But when i started investigating the Org. and thier Big LIE well that was it for me.!!

Lost: HELLO! Thanks for your thumbs up. Yes, my searching has also turned up the info you mentioned. Remember Rev. says after the destruction of Babylon the Great she will become a lurking place for demons. So it should not surprise us that some of these monks and others have a demonic influence.
